ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We, Laudisi Enterprises, the parent company of Smokingpipes.com, Laudisi Distribution Group, Cornell & Diehl, Peterson of Dublin and Low Country Pipe & Cigar, are looking for a Blending Associate to join our team at Cornell & Diehl and help hand-craft our boutique pipe tobacco.
WHAT WE EXPECT OUR BLENDING ASSOCIATE TO DO:
- Be active on their feet all day
- Accurately weigh various tobacco leaf and ribbon
- Use basic computer skills to follow all our recipes
- Mix and weigh various flavors and chemicals
- Acquire tobacco and product knowledge to be able to identify quality control issues
HOW WE EXPECT OUR BLENDING ASSOCIATE TO DO IT:
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Be punctual and reliable
- Work autonomously but take direction from teammates and management
- Find creative and wise solutions to meet our production goals
- Follow health and safety guidelines and remain OSHA and FDA compliant
- Learn and retain knowledge of our products and processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to life 30lb
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
BONUS SKILLS:
Have you pulled a pallet jack? Have you inventoried a warehouse? Do you enjoy pipes or cigars? These skills could all serve you well and move you to the head of the class.
Look, we’re super passionate about the things we do—for many of us that includes the things we buy, make, and sell chiefly pipes, pipe tobacco, and cigars. Lots of us smoke tobacco at Laudisi and there will be times when you must work in smoking areas.
